Before Dooming online FPS history
Well I began playing Doom II when I was around 8 or 9, and loved it, although of course I wasn't very good at it then. I then moved on to Duke Nukem 3D, and playing it modem to modem with friends, making levels, and much fun was had. A little later I found a very early ZDoom, played around with it a bit, and forgot about it. I then played various FPSs, such as Unreal Tournament, HEDSHOT!! ha ha lmao.
Online Dooming history
I decided one day a few years ago to try ZDoom again, and it got me interested in playing Doom online, and I then found ZDaemon somehow, and I started playing online. After a few months of playing online I started to become better and better, playing Dwango5, and thinking ""God these maps fucking suck except for the first one"". I then found Skulltag some months later (it was around when ST 95b or c was out)and that's when I decided to download a wad from Apothem's website, and entered his server. I was hooked on ST's power-ups and new weapons, and Apothem was impressed by my playing ability. I was then accepted into the 7th clan, which was the best ST clan. A little bit later I found out about IRC, and came into various Doom channels, and hung around for a while. All the while continuing to play ST and ZDaemon, honing my skills, and entering tournaments (and losing LOLEZ). Around then I slowly got to know people in the Doom community, (mainly multiplayer)and I remember being attracted to UD's awesomeness, making friends with them, dry humping Ace, and then... some more stuff happened and I'm like, here, and stuff. Yeah.
